With the birth of Elsie in January 2011 Joel and I decided to take 9 months out to spend as a family in New Zealand. This blog will follow what we get up to while we are down under. There won't be any hilarious adventures or witty prose. Expect the mundane with the ordinary - a detailed recording of the minutiae of our domesticity. I've been trying to get Elsie used to sleeping in her new bed. The rules are:
• must wear her sleep sack
• no toys
• no playing
• lie down
• close eyes
• sleep
If she breaks the rules she goes in her cot. Today I left her to settle then when I went to check I found that she had taken Olive's Snowsuit and was trying to put it on. She'd done a pretty good job! But she still ended up in the cot!
